Camp Atterbury offers two types of accommodation for its authorized users: Troop Issue - Billeting and Lodging - Chargeable Transient Quarters.
Troop Issue - Billeting
Troop Issue - Billeting is the primary option for units conducting training or mobilization at Camp Atterbury. It provides free or low-cost billeting, including 5,334 bed spaces, in various types of facilities, such as barracks, bachelor enlisted quarters, classrooms, maintenance buildings, and headquarters buildings. Troop Issue - Billeting also provides linens, toiletries, laundry services, and housekeeping services.
Lodging - Chargeable Transient Quarters
Lodging - Chargeable Transient Quarters is the secondary option for users who are authorized under NGR 5-3-1, such as service members, retirees, government agencies, DOD contractors, civilians operating on a military base, and their friends and family. It provides hotel-style rooms with amenities such as free wi-fi, microwave, refrigerator, flat screen with cable, coffee and coffee maker, and private or connecting bathrooms with showers.
To reserve Lodging - Chargeable Transient Quarters, users must contact the Lodging Office at 812-526-1128 or email ng.in.inarng.list.cajmtc-housing@army.mil. The check-in time is 2:00 PM, and the check-out time is 11:00 AM. Users can request an early check-in or a late check-out, subject to availability and approval by the Billeting Office.
