1. Facilities and Services

The presence of a TV in the room does not feel important at all because you will too busy enjoying exciting activities outside. Grilling, playing board games, and gathering around a campfire in a common area are unforgettable moments.

The area around the campfire looks very new and well-maintained. Their teepee is clean and comfortable, making you feel at home lingering. You will definitely come back here and invite my friends to have the same experience.

Some reviews mentioned the place needed a refresh, but recent upgrades have made a big difference. Their room had fresh paint, a clean shower, new futons, and a long-awaited flat-screen TV.

The Teepee Motel is cute and quirky, and the experience was exactly what you expected. The teepee was comfortable, with a bed, TV, and other amenities. The bathroom is small, but it's a teepee, after all!

The teepee was cozy, perfect for two. The wide-angle lens in its photos makes it look bigger, but it's about the size of a dorm room. The retro decor and old-fashioned phone added to the nostalgic charm.

The AC was a welcome relief from the Wharton heat. The bathroom was simple but had everything we needed: towels, a hairdryer, coffee maker, and soap.

1) Melissa C. Baytown, TX gave it a 3-star rating

The check-in process was friendly and efficient. While it’s a motel, the teepees are surprisingly cute and well-equipped with a microwave, fridge, flat-screen TV, Wi-Fi, and cable. The bed was comfortable, and we had a good night’s sleep.

While there were a few unexpected visitors like crickets and a curious spider, it added to the authentic camping experience. Overall, it was a fun and unique stay. If you don’t mind a few bugs, the Teepee Motel is definitely worth a visit.

2) Geo L. Brookhaven, MS gave it a 1-star rating

Unfortunately, this RV park was quite disappointing. The grounds were poorly maintained, with trash scattered around and overgrown grass. The potholes in the driveways made maneuvering difficult. Additionally, the bathrooms were unsanitary and lacked essential supplies. The constant smell of sewage was unpleasant, and the Wi-Fi was unreliable.

3) Mark S. Clear Lake, Houston, TX

The room, as described by other reviewers, was quaint and charming. However, the lack of pre-cooled air conditioning on a sweltering 93-degree day was frustrating. While we appreciated the unique teepee experience, minor inconveniences like the absence of toilet paper, ice, and a functional TV remote detracted from our stay. The staff was friendly and accommodating, but these issues could have been easily addressed.

4) Liza B. TX, TX

The teepee was quite small and showed signs of age, despite past renovations. The room could benefit from a fresh update, as evidenced by the dead bugs and rust stains. The bathroom door was also malfunctioning. Overall, the experience was underwhelming. Perhaps the RV park portion of the property might offer a more comfortable stay.
